This is one fulfilling itinerary. You have a relaxed stay at one of the most scenic hill stations of Kumaon - Mukteshwar. Being at a height of 2200m above sea level it is one of the best places to feel the fresh and crisp Himalayan air, enjoy scenic vistas of the Himalayan range, sunrise and the glorious sunset. From Mukteshwar you drive to Binsar which is at a similar height and a densely forested sanctuary, a treat for nature lovers, enjoy nature walks, Himalayan views, spot some Himalayan birds, visit temples and the following day you drive to Nainital which is total change from the relaxed & serene days you've just had. Nainital is the most popular and happening lake township of North India. Enjoy the local markets, horse rides, boating, try culinary delights from the myriad range of restaurants and cafes. From Nainital we drive down to about 300m ASL to one of India's largest, oldest and the most popular Tiger reserves - The Jim Corbett National Park. Sprawled over 1300+ sq Kms of dense bio-diverse forest. This tiger reserve is a haven for wild life enthusiasts. Travelers visiting the park can enjoy jeep safaris with guides / naturalists. Enjoy your stay at a jungle resort bordering the fenced boundary of the reserve.

Day 1- Stay at Mukteshwar – Meal included - Dinner

Arrival at Mukteshwar. 330 Kms / 8 Hrs drive from Delhi and 68 Kms / 2 Hrs drive from the Kathgodam railways station. Mukteshwar is at a height of 8000 ft. ASL. The Last 60 Kms is a beautiful hilly drive with scenic views of the deep valleys, mountain lakes, fresh water hill streams and if lucky some wildlife. Relax & Refresh. Evening at Leisure by the Bon-Fire. Over Night at Mukteshwar.

Day2 – Stay at Mukteshwar – Meal included – Breakfast and Dinner

Wake up early morning to experience the awe-inspiring sunrise from behind the Himalayan Ranges. Have a satiating breakfast & head off for a local site seeing tour of the Mukteshwar Township where you get to visit the Jim Corbetts' Bungalow, Famous Chauthi Jaali Cliff with a straight drop of approx. 2000 Ft. and The Century old Shiva Temple known as the MUKTESHWAR MAHADEV. The adventurous few can also opt. for a Rock Climbing / Rappelling / Zip line session at the Cliff. Return for Lunch to the Resort. After Lunch Relax at the Resort & feel free to use the Club area with a TT Table, Fooze Ball Table, Carrom Board, Library and some board games or the enthusiastic few could even opt for a soft stroll with our guides into the neighbouring forests . In the evening relax by the Bon-Fire and share your respective memories for the day. Over Night at Mukteshwar.

Day3- Stay at Binsar- Meals Included Dinner

After breakfast departure for Binsar. It’s a 95 Kms / 3.5Hrs drive (via Sitla- Peora -Almora .). Please note that Binsar is an off-beat place where travelers visit primarily to experience the sanctuary and relax with nature. Tourists attractions that you could enjoy: Great views of the Himalayas. Zero Point, peak of Binsar where there is a TRC. The ancient Jageshwar temples. Kasardevi Temple. Bineshwar Temple. Binsar Sanctuary Museum. Travelers also go for Village walks at Binsar to experience the Kumaoni culture.

Day4-Stay at Nainital – Meal included – Breakfast and Dinner

Morning at leisure, after breakfast you start your Journey for Nainital (45KMs / 1.5 Hrs) drive via Ramgarh and Bhowali. Enjoy the scenic views of the valleys and dense forests of Khabrar en-route. There is lots to do at Nainital - Horse riding, boat rides on the lake, shopping at the Tibetan Market and Mall Road, visit to the Tiffin Top and China Peak view points, Nainital Zoo, Aerial Ropeway, the zoo, observatory and more. Enjoy your day amidst the hustle bustle of the busy but historical lake township founded by the British. Nainital has a wide range of restaurants and cafes and you would enjoy the myriad culinary experiences.

Day5-Stay at Nainital – Meal included – Breakfast and Dinner

Morning at leisure, after breakfast you start your Journey for Nainital (45KMs / 1.5 Hrs) drive via Ramgarh and Bhowali. Enjoy the scenic views of the valleys and dense forests of Khabrar en-route. There is lots to do at Nainital - Horse riding, boat rides on the lake, shopping at the Tibetan Market and Mall Road, visit to the Tiffin Top and China Peak view points, Nainital Zoo, Aerial Ropeway, the zoo, observatory and more. Enjoy your day amidst the hustle bustle of the busy but historical lake township founded by the British. Day 6- Departure post Breakfast

·You will be woken up early in the morning at approx. 5 am for the Morning jeep safari into the Corbett National Park. The safari duration is generally 2.5-3 Hrs. The jeep drops you back at the Resort, freshen up and enjoy breakfast. Post breakfast you proceed for onward journey

Mukteshwar

State: Uttarakhand

Mukteshwar, known as the fruit basket of Kumaon, is a sleepy little Himalayan hamlet perched atop a height of approx. 8000 Ft ASL, providing scenic views of deep wooded valleys, the Himalayan range, sunset and sunrise panoramas, dense forests great for bird watchers and wildlife enthusiasts. You enjoy village walks, bon-fire evenings, fun adventure and outdoor activities like rock climbing, rappelling, trekking, forest / nature walks, forest and stream picnics. A centuries old Lord Shiva temple, revered by locals and worshipers from all over sits at the peak of Mukteshwar. Mukteshwar is also home to a veterinary research institute which was established by the British about 150 years ago. It’s called the I.V.R.I (Indian Veterinary Research Institute) and it is the main reason why 20-25 sq. Kms of Mukteshwar has been conserved for all these years and is rich in flora and fauna.

Weather: The winters (November-March) is very cold and it snows Minimum temperature can go to as low as - 6 DegC.
Summers (April to Mid-June) are very pleasant, offering majestic views. The temperatures during this period are comfortable with maximums settling around 28°C and minimum’s around 12°C, on an average. Monsoon season is from July to September. The place receives good amounts of rain during the period.

Closest airport: Technically Pantnagar (90 Kms / 3 Hrs) but realistically the only option is Delhi airport (390 Kms / 9 Hrs)

Railway Station: Kathgodam railway station, Haldwani railway station and Lal Kuan railway station.

Best time to visit: April – June end and October until mid-November. Beyond mid November until March it becomes very cold.

Generally spoken language: Hindi and Kumaoni and basic English is understood and spoken by the hospitality professionals.

Altitude: 2200 Mtrs ASL approx..

Binsar
State: Uttarakhand

Binsar is known for it's views of the snow capped Himalayan mountain ranges, so tourists can sit back and enjoy the panoramic views while. One can also go for trekking with abundant nature trails available at Binsar like a comfortable trek up to the Zero point from where the Himalayan views are spectacular with Kedarnath, Trishul, Nanda Devi, Panchachuli and more standing tall. Binsar also houses a sanctuary covering 45 Sq. Kms with a rich diversity of flora and fauna with forests of oak and rhododendron with a large species of flowers and 200 + birds along with some wild animals like Leopards, Himalayan Black Bears, Wild Boar, Sambhar Deer, Barking Deer and more. The famous temple of Binsar Mahadev is also nearby along with the Kasar Devi Temple and Jageshwar Dham (temples) in the neighbourhood.

Nainital

State: Uttarakhand

A beautiful but densely populated lake township. The hill town is surrounding the Naini Lake. Nainital has a varied topography.  Guests can enjoy shopping, boat rides, horse riding, visit to view points, the local zoo, the observatory etc. The town was founded by the British so there’s a lot of history which one can probe into by visiting some old colonial bungalows including Jim Corbett’s House, Old Churches etc. There are several restaurants and cafes at Nainital and one can really enjoy from the myriad culinary experiences available.

Weather: The winters (November-March) is quite cold and Minimum temperature can go to as low as 2 DegC. Summers (April to Mid-June) swings from pleasant to warm. The temperatures during this period are a maximum 32°C and minimum’s around 14°C, on an average. Monsoon season is from July to September. Nainital, like other hill stations of Kumaon receives good amounts of rain during the period.

Closest airport: Technically Pantnagar (70 Kms / 2.5 Hrs) but realistically the only option is Delhi airport (300 Kms / 6.5 Hrs)

Railway Station: Kathgodam railway station, Haldwani railway station and Lal Kuan railway station (in order of preference). (1-2 Hrs / 35-60Kms)

Best time to visit: April – June end and October - March

Jim Corbett National Park

State: Uttarakhand

One of India's largest, oldest and the most popular Tiger reserves - The Jim Corbett National Park. Sprawled over 1300+ sq Kms of dense bio-diverse forest with the Ramganga and Kosi rivers flowing through it this is actually several different forests in one, ever changing with the changing seasons. Only designated areas in the 520 sq.Kms., out of the total area, are open to tourists. Thera are five zones named Dhikala, Bijrani, Jhirna, Domunda and Sonanandi. This tiger reserve is a haven for wild life enthusiasts. 600+ species of birds, apart from the elephants, tigers, leopards, jackals, sambhar deer, spotted deer, hog deer and more. Travelers visiting the park can enjoy jeep safaris with guides / naturalists. Enjoy your stay at a jungle resort bordering the fenced boundary of the reserve.

Weather: The weather in the park is temperate compared to most other protected areas of India. The temperature may vary from 5 °C (41 °F) to 30 °C (86 °F) during the winter and some mornings are foggy. Summer temperatures normally do not rise above 42 °C (104 °F). The park receives heavy rainfall during monsoons (July – September end) and remains closed around this period.
