The mountain lodge in Sangla Valley - the Banjara Camp & Retreat; is the perfect base for exploring the little-discovered Kinnaur region. At a height of 2,700 M / 8860 ft, the camp & retreat is surrounded by towering forest-clad mountains on all sides and is set in an apple orchard on the banks of the Baspa River that surges through the valley. The lodge has a range of comfortable dwelling units with en suite facilities: Swiss Cottage Tents, Rooms in the Retreat - a two-storied stone & wood house in rustic style, and independent cottages, bang on the riverside. A well-equipped kitchen serves multi-cuisine meals and evening bonfires keep the chill away. Hammocks swaying in the breeze, the gurgling of the river, the crisp crackling of the bonfire, and the delicious aromas of barbecued food wafting over you; are just some of the things that we have on offer here. 5 Dlx Tents, 5 Super Dlx Tents, 14 Retreat Suite Rooms, 2 River Facing Huts.
All the tents and rooms are fully furnished and have attached baths with 24 hr hot/cold water supply. 5 of the super dlx rooms have an attic/ loft which children (sometimes adults too) enjoy immensely.

The location is very scenic with the camp situated in the pristine Himalayas. The camp was very comfortable with amazing food that included local dishes for newcomers. Overall it was an amazing experience that gave us memories of a lifetime."

Amazing place and amazing food. Great service. Great hospitality. Ok prakash ji the manager was really warm and cooperative. The property was really great. Surrounded by beautiful view and the river side cottages were really cozy and beautiful.Manoj the cooking staff was very cooperative. Cooked everything as per our needs. Served us with best food and especially served me with great jain food. Thankyou for amazing experience. Loved our stay❤️

“Best Place in Sangla- No Questions”

Right at the banks of the river and in the valley beautiful view Food Outstanding. In sangla continental food and with bread made at the restaurant it is unbelievable. We were here for 4 nights and not a single day any menu in the buffet was repeated. Property Spread in apple orchard with lots of activities. Table tennis, badminton and no of chess boards, carrom and boos will keep you occupied for days. Children will have lots of activities. Service Perfect and staff is well trained Child Friendly I travelled with our 6 year old boy and he wants to go back
The staff will also help you arrange treks and visit to nearby points.
